JADHAV HOUSE, NANDED
The Jadhav House is 5500 sq. ft of architectural realization on stilts complying with the conditions of a low lying area , hot tropical climate and meeting the needs of our clients who are full time medical professionals.

The plinth, raised to the first level gives the feeling of an extended landscape , while the space underneath serves for parking and utility. The house begins with a single large external staircase that leads to the first level opening into the living room. On arrival, the voids in the courtyard connecting the two levels of the dwelling are distinctly visible. The central staircase, subtly anchoring the entire house appears to be a spine embellished with a chandelier.

The architectural program for this house was split in two levels. The living, dining, kitchen, parents' room and kids study were programmed on the first level, while the second floor accommodated for the master bedroom, kids' room , and family lounge. The terrace adjoining the kid's room on the first floor beholds a spiral staircase that is a noted element in the design of this house.

The material pallette oscillates between warm tropical wood veneers Jaiselmer & Olivia stone and artwork that is commissioned from all over India. These tones provided by the lighting program provide the desired warmth and comfort, thus realizing the project to its fullest potential.
