<span class="projectContainerHeading">Client: </span>SPECIALITY RESTAURANTS <br /><br /> <span class="projectContainerHeading">Location: </span>PUNE <br /><br /> Cooking over a sigree has been synonymous with the traditional Indian cooking - the endless cooking on the over slow fire, thus imparting the most authentic flavours to be savoured. So it was, Sigree in Pune-an authentic Indian cuisine with an exposed kitchen as the main design element. <br /><br /> A design strategy that could encourage large groups seating and "eat-with-the-hand" concept was adopted. Thus what came to life was a dispensing bar resembling an earthen pot, rows of low seating, lattice work on the ceiling as a lighting element and several inspirations drawn from the Indian dhaba elements.
