<span class="projectContainerHeading">Client: </span>HOTEL VICTOR PALACE<br /><br /> <span class="projectContainerHeading">LOCATION: </span>MUMBAI <br /><br /> Tucked in a 1926 structure, this retro style night club was the first of its kind when the bar craze hit Mumbai. Reflecting the harbor and its moods in its expression, the design created for an interactive space with the bar jutting out into the central space, facing a mural by late artist badri depicting a satire on city life. <br /><br />Perforated and corrugated stainless steel was used to create sleek and sturdy furniture. Brushed, corrugated scratched, riveted, perforated steel was used to clad walls, columns, bar aprons creating an active surface. Extensive use of fibre optics, neon lighting and reflective surface lighting livened up the space that packed upto 300 people on a weekend.
