SHARMA

LOCATION: JUHU

AREA: 3500 Sq.ft.

When the Sharma's decided to move from a small bungalow to a spacious apartment in Juhu, their only brief was to utilize a few of his favorite furniture pieces acquired by him. Being primarily designed for a furniture collector, this abode involved the owner's collection which was curated and commissioned over a long period of time.

The spaces were programmed in a manner that our client could entertain his guests comfortably in the large living room as well as throught he captain's table-a retractable bar counter with beautiful floral inlay work in balck and white.

This east facing apartment was Vaastu compliant and its palette was carefully chosen using Jack slate along with light Emperador and wood for flooring and cladding. Redwood veneer complemented the whole scheme.

The entire house was enveloped in muslin (sheer) fabric to give it privacy and diffused light, and gentle breeze to come in, at the same time not to hinder the sense of privacy. Small viewing corridors largely in the north were exploited for their greenery. Certain decorative design motifs were used as various contemporary elements to complete the design.
