Courtyards that extend out from the living and dining areas, a pergola above that tracks the change of time throughout the day by casting shadows - this house was an interesting mix of shadows changing moods and nature that took its way into the spaces through these design elements.<br /><br />
The pergola was an intelligent design to avoid grills to the window at the same time partially allowing rain and sunshine to come through the partial covering of polycarbonate sheets .Courtyards that allowed cross ventilation across the whole house were best experienced on rainy days and moonlit nights.
