Nested high up there for un-interrupted view of the hills in Nashik- This 4000 Sq. ft penthouse is a design distinctive in appearance.

The idea behind the penthouse was to imbue the interiors with a strong architectural quality coupled with richness and quietness, allowing the family to experience the day as it progressed.

The spatial program of this duplex was driven by clean lines and depth in materials. The "woven mat" door welcomes you to this abode, leading you to the living room that rests in a soaring 22-feet high space glowing with north light from the full height double glazed windows. The slate wall here revels in the play of light and shade, with carved and etched motifs revealing themselves through random patterns. Glass partitions showcase the metal and stained teak staircase leading to the upper level.
A cleverly controlled material palette is what lends to this house its strong individuality. Intelligent amalgamation of Brazilian ebony hardwood veneer and Houdini acacia veneer covered platforms with the Verde grey floor enhances the character of the house.

Extensive but intelligent use of artwork by the likes of Pandit Khainar, Sandeep Ved, Prashant Deoria and tribal art from Bastar, blends smoothly with the entire design program.
